General Conference Information, Terms & Conditions

Registration fees must be paid in full by the specified deadline.

In the event of a cancellation, there will be no refund made to any delegate after 31 July.

There is no transfer of registration to any other delegate.

Delegates who have registered to attend physically but are unable to attend may send a proxy to collect any conference resources and/or materials on their behalf upon presentation of the following:

• A signed Letter of authority delegate stating the name of the proxy

• The delegate’s original conference registration slip

• Evidence of payment of the conference fee

All this must be sent to the Head, Conferences and Events, NBA Secretariat, Abuja via the email address below by the delegate from his/her registered email address. To collect, the proxy must present the form of identity indicated by the delegate in the email. For further enquiries and or clarification, kindly contact conference@nigerianbar.org.ng

The NBA may at any time, with or without giving notice, in its absolute discretion and without giving any reason, cancel or postpone the conference, change its venue or any of the other published particulars, or withdraw any invitation to attend. In any case, neither the NBA nor any of its officers, employees, agents, members or representatives shall be liable for any loss, liability, damage or expense suffered or incurred by any person, nor will the NBA return any money paid to it in connection with the conference unless the NBA is satisfied that the person who paid it has been unfairly prejudiced (as to which, decision shall be in the NBA’s sole and unfettered discretion and, when announced, final and conclusive).
